Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at WCS Healthcare Partners in Livingston, NJ. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized care to our most vulnerable patients in a state-of-the-art facility, while enjoying the vibrant community and convenient location of Livingston.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing life support equipment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Perform advanced procedures such as A-line management, central line care, and ventilator management.
  • Educate and support families regarding the care and condition of their newborns.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care using EPIC charting system.
  • Float to other units such as PICU, Peds, NBN, and Mother/Baby as needed, providing care based on skill set and unit requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting, including documented NICU Level III and PICU experience.
  • Active NJ or Compact RN license at time of submission.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
  • Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and fulfill holiday work requirements as per unit needs.
  • Strong skills in IV therapy, medications, and management of cardiac and respiratory conditions in neonates.
