Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 20:00) with every other weekend required.
Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our NICU-based Float Pool. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to neonates and children in varying settings, including NICU Level III, PICU, Newborn Nursery, and Mother/Baby units.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for neonatal and pediatric patients.
- Manage complex patient needs involving IV therapy, central line care, and ventilator management.
- Administer medications and perform dysrhythmia interpretation/management.
- Perform feedings and placement/management of feeding tubes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care across units.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active NJ or Compact RN license.
- BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
- A minimum of 1.5 years of documented NICU Level III and PICU experience.
- Proficiency in IV therapy, A-line management, and care of UAC/UVC required.
