Requirements
- 2 years NICU experience required
- Posting description also states 3 years NICU experience is required
- Level III–IV NICU experience — MUST
- Must have experience with:
- Ventilators
- High-frequency oscillators
- Pressors
- Micro-preemies
- STABLE – Required
- NRP – Required
- BLS – Required
- Current RN license in the applicable state/district – Required
- Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility
NICU Patient Population
- Neonates from approximately 23 weeks gestation to 4 months
- Extreme prematurity
- Respiratory distress syndrome
- Sepsis
- Hypoglycemia
- Congenital anomalies
- Seizures
- Meconium aspiration syndrome
