As a part of our esteemed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our youngest and most vulnerable patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level IV NICU.
• Perform IV insertion and maintenance, central line care, and OG/NG feeds.
• Conduct phlebotomy and manage nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
• Utilize Mobile Heartbeat/Connected Care for patient alarms and communication.
• Participate in medication competency assessments and ensure safe medication administration.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting; 1.5 years accepted with Level I or travel experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Experience with Level III NICU.
• Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs; floats to all pediatrics.
• Strong skills in medication calculations and administration.
• Must be able to work every other weekend and accommodate a self-scheduling system in 6-week blocks.
• Flu vaccine required.
