Description

American Traveler is hiring a Level IV/Surgical NICU RN for weekend block night shifts, requiring PALS certification and prior surgical NICU experience.

Details

  • Level IV/Surgical NICU setting
  • Common diagnoses include CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-op cases
  • Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts
  • Weekend BLOCK schedule covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Floating to other units required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current PALS certification required; NRP preferred
  • Prior Level IV/Surgical NICU experience required
  • Must pass nicotine and drug screening with no exceptions
  • Must obtain flu vaccine with no religious or medical exceptions accepted

Additional Information

  • Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and surgical neonatal patients
  • Must work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract period
  • Facility maintains a nicotine-free policy with mandatory testing
