Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a NICU position requiring 2+ years of neonatal ICU experience and mandatory facility floating.

Details

• NICU unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with no block scheduling
• Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per month)
• Mandatory float facility; clinicians may be required to float to other units or facilities within scope of competency
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Any scrub color permitted

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2+ years of NICU experience required
• Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exceptions

Additional Information

• Provide neonatal intensive care nursing within a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• May float outside primary competency area under a team-based care model
• RTO limited to 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive days off
• No RTO permitted on weekends, holidays, or the day before/after a holiday
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius of the facility
