• Bed Size: 31 beds
• Float Expectations: May float to age-appropriate Pediatric/PICU areas
• Charting System: EPIC
• Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Dress Code: Caribbean blue scrubs

Job Requirements

• Current Indiana RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience
• BLS certification from AHA
• NRP certification
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal patient care
• Ability to work 36 hours per week on night shift
• Willingness to complete all required orientation days
• Flexibility to float to age-appropriate Pediatric/PICU units when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to NICU patients in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Monitor neonatal status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Document patient care thoroughly in the EPIC charting system
• Maintain safe medication practices using Pyxis medication administration systems
• Support families with compassionate communication and education
• Adapt to unit needs, including floating to appropriate pediatric care areas when assigned
