Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring EPIC experience, NRP/NALS, and STABLE certification.

Details

• NICU unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (STABLE) certification required
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior license disciplinary action permitted

Additional Information

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of NICU patients according to established standards of care
• Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe, healing environment
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provides patient and family education throughout the care process
• Holiday time off requests will not be approved
• Requests for more than 5 days of RTO will not be approved
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates currently placed at another facility within the same health system are not eligible for consideration
