Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Lubbock, Texas.
Job Description & Requirements

RN NICU | Lubbock, TX (Auto Offer)
Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM | 36 hrs/week
Schedule: Self-scheduling | Block scheduling required
Weekend: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule period
Requirements:
- 2+ years NICU experience required
- Level III NICU experience preferred; facility is Level IV
- First-time travelers accepted
- BLS & Advanced NRP required
- Epic experience required
- 1:2–4 patient ratio experience
- Strong neonatal critical care experience
Preferred Clinical Experience:
- Neonates <28 weeks
- Ventilator management, HFNC, Bubble CPAP & high-frequency ventilation
- UAC/UVC, central & arterial lines
- Vasopressors, surfactants & nitric oxide
- Sepsis, NEC, HIE, seizures & therapeutic hypothermia
- Phototherapy, gavage/breast/bottle feeding
- APGAR scoring, developmental care & thermoregulation
Unit Details:
- 43-bed NICU | Approx. 35 daily census
- Patient ratio: 1:2-4
- Prematurity, respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, sepsis & HIE
- Surgical neonates across subspecialties except cardiac
- Float required to Pediatrics/PICU/Pediatric ED
- No call
