Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital or specialty nursing experience
• Level III NICU experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Ability to attend deliveries, including C-sections
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and clinical skills
• Meditech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality neonatal nursing care in a Level III NICU
• Monitor, assess, and respond to the needs of critically ill newborns
• Assist with and attend deliveries, including C-sections
• Use NICU equipment such as BCPAP and high-flow nasal cannula support systems
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
• Follow unit policies, safety standards, and attendance expectations
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with unit guidelines
