Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Lubbock, Texas.

Job Details:
**Experience and Qualifications:** - At least 2+ years of NICU experience, with preference for Level III or higher as the unit operates at Level IV - At least 1 year of required experience **Leadership and Charge Experience:** - No previous charge experience requirement mentioned **Clinical Experience and Patient Ratios:** - Experience with patient ratios of 1:2-4 - Experience in charting systems, specifically Epic **Licensure:** - Valid State License required, compact license must be in hand at submission **Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) **Skills and Advanced Skills:** - Administration of blood & blood products, anti-seizure medications, antibiotics/antivirals, APGAR scoring, arterial line management, assisting with lumbar puncture, blood glucose monitoring, breastfeeding support/handling of breast milk, bubble CPAP, central line blood draw, central line/implanted line care, colostomy/ileostomy management/care - Developmental Care, feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), gastroschisis/omphalocele, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), high frequency ventilation, hyperbilirubinemia, ICP monitoring, insulin administration, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors - Level 1 Nursery, management of chest tubes, meconium aspiration, necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), neonatal abstinence syndrome, neonatal dosage calculations, neonatal sepsis, neonates 34 weeks, neonates 29-34 weeks, NICU Levels II, III, IV, Nitric Oxide (INo), oscillators, oxygen delivery systems, patient/family teaching, phlebotomy, phototherapy, placement/management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, post-abdominal surgery - Respiratory distress syndrome, seizure disorders, sepsis work-up, starting and maintaining IVs, steroids, suctioning (ETT, NT), surfactants, telemetry - on the unit monitoring, therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), thermoregulation, tracheostomy care/management, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), ventricular peritoneal (VP) shunts
