Job Details:
**Required Experience:** - At least 1 year of experience **Preferred Experience:** - 2+ years NICU experience, with preference for Level III experience **Leadership Experience:** - Not explicitly required or mentioned **Clinical Experience:** - NICU II, NICU III, NICU IV experience - Experience with neonates, including specific age groups (Neonates 29-34 weeks, Neonates >34 weeks) **Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) **Licensure:** - Valid state license needed at submission (Compact license accepted) **Skills and Qualifications:** - Patient ratio experience: 1:2-4 - Charting system experience: Required (Epic) - Advanced skills including administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Antibiotics/Antivirals, APGAR scoring, Arterial line management, Assist with lumbar puncture, Central line blood draw, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Bubble CPAP, and more. - Management and care skills for central line/implanted line, developmental care, various respiratory support systems, sepsis work-up, and others as detailed in job description. **Other Requirements:** - Must submit 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (6 months for CNAs), which can include Charge RNs/Lead. - Candidates should commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. - Must submit any requested time off upfront. **Travel Specifics:** - Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities. - Reference check needed, returning staff can return after 3 months. **Technology and Module Completion:** - Required to complete modules pre-start and during orientation, with time recorded in Workramp transcripts. - Epic charting system experience required.
