Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level 3 NICU position requiring 2 years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Level 3 NICU with 84 licensed beds across 2 floors
• Unit staffed with Charge RN, Code Neonatal RN, Clerk, and Milk Tech
• Night shift schedule, 18:45-07:15
• Scheduling requires flexibility with no block scheduling
• May float to other units within and outside of the Women's Hospital as a functional float without taking a patient assignment
• Uses Compass Cerner EMR
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• PALS certification required (AHA)
• NRP certification required (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
