Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Level 3 NICU position requiring a TX or compact license and 2 years of experience, with flexible scheduling and no block scheduling.

Details

• Level 3 NICU with 84 licensed beds divided between two floors
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment with flexible scheduling and no block scheduling
• Staffed with Charge RN, Code Neonatal RN, Clerk, and Milk Tech support
• May float to all units within and outside of Women's Hospital as a functional float without taking a patient assignment
• Uses Compass Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and NRP (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
• Travelers should discuss extension plans with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end date
• Submission to only one Ascension position system wide is permitted
