Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients across all gestational ages and acuity levels in a 25-bed Level III NICU with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Bubble CPAP, mechanical ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, Alaris IV pumps, feeding pumps, and breast pumps
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
  • Float to the postpartum unit as needed based on census and staffing demands
  • Collaborate as an active team member, adapting to changes in patient assignments during high-census shifts

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in good standing (compact or Indiana state license)
  • Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Willingness to wear hospital-issued scrubs per dress code policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • STABLE Program certification preferred
  • Experience with IV insertion, delivery room stabilization, CPAP management, and mechanical ventilator management
  • Strong team-player mentality with adaptability to dynamic, fast-paced NICU environments
