Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, NICU – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Block scheduling available upon request. Intermittent weekend coverage required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

  • Level III/IV NICU with 77 beds and average daily census of 50 patients
  • Care for neonates as young as 23-24 weeks gestation with complex medical needs
  • Exposure to high-acuity procedures including high-frequency ventilation, therapeutic hypothermia, PICC/central line management, and neonatal surgeries
  • Attend high-risk deliveries and work with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • 2:1 patient ratios across all shifts with dedicated admit nurse support
  • Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
  • Minimum 3 years of NICU experience required; must have at least 3 years Level III NICU or 2 years Level IV NICU experience
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Experience with blood/blood product administration, ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPap/PEEP), central line care, and neonatal dosage calculations
  • Proficiency with feeding tubes, therapeutic hypothermia, and care of extremely premature neonates (29+ weeks)
  • Must be open to floating to sister campuses as needed (NICU, Special Care Nursery, or Pediatrics with newborns/infants only)
  • Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
