Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Apple Valley, California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:00 - 18:30). Weekend coverage required approximately every other weekend, may exceed to accommodate unit needs. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.

Highlights:

• Level III NICU with 14 beds serving approximately 190 births per month
• Acute care hospital with 212 total staffed beds utilizing Epic charting system
• Patient ratios staffed by acuity, up to 1:3; may float to Mother/Baby for babies
• Free parking and supportive interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Serve a large Hispanic community with CCS designation
• 40 hours of paid orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in Level III NICU specialty (hard stop requirement)
• Previous travel experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP Advanced, PALS (will allow NRP if willing to obtain Advanced before start)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with administration of blood and blood products, attending high-risk deliveries, and managing PICC lines required
• Ability to manage central lines, titrate vasopressors (Dopamine and Dobutamine), and administer conscious sedation
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
