Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a Level III/IV NICU setting with expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2–4
  • Participate in a self-scheduling model, including 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
  • Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
  • Float between units as needed within the facility
  • Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
  • Willingness to work block schedules and weekend shifts as outlined
  • Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
  • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Level III or Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a children's hospital or pediatric trauma center environment
  • Flexibility for longer contract durations beyond the standard 13-week assignment
