Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at submission; compact license accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• CLS certification preferred/required per assignment needs
• Experience with Level II NICU admissions and normal newborn care
• Ability to support infants 32 weeks gestation and greater
• Strong experience with high-risk deliveries and neonatal care procedures
• Comfort with floating as needed
• Ability to provide two professional references covering recent experience

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled neonatal nursing care to infants in a Level II NICU / Special Care Nursery
• Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
• Support newborns requiring CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tubes, and syringe pumps
• Perform neonatal feedings, dosage calculations, and respiratory support monitoring
• Manage oral, nasogastric, and nasojejunal tubes as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver safe, family-centered neonatal care
• Float to nearby sister facilities when needed based on staffing demands
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and strong communication throughout the assignment
