Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position requiring NRP certification and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU within a children's hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only) units

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required, Advanced 9th Edition
• STABLE and NIC-RNC certifications preferred
• 2+ years of Level III or higher NICU experience preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized personality fit preferred

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU
• Work alongside a team including charge RNs, respiratory therapists, and support staff
• Navy blue scrub attire required per unit dress code
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
