Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / NICU – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Patient ratio of 2:1. Intermittent weekend coverage required with flexible scheduling options. Block scheduling available for those who prefer working three or more consecutive shifts.

Highlights:

  • Level III/IV NICU with 77 beds and average census of 50 patients
  • Care for neonates as young as 23-24 weeks gestation with comprehensive critical care capabilities
  • Dedicated admit nurse on unit; travelers typically do not perform admissions
  • Advanced procedures including high-frequency ventilation, therapeutic hypothermia, PICC/central line management, and attendance at high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
  • Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
  • Minimum 3 years of NICU experience required (Level III or at least 2 years Level IV NICU experience)
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications
  • Experience with ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPap/PEEP), blood product administration, central line care, and neonatal dosage calculations
  • Proficiency with neonates 29+ weeks gestation and therapeutic interventions including feeding tubes and cooling blankets
  • Willingness to float to sister campuses as needed
  • Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
