General Information

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift/Workdays: 7 AM - 7 PM
• Weekend Requirements: None
• Call Requirements: No call required

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 7
• Patient Ratios: 2:3
• Type of Equipment: BCPAP, HFNC
• Documentation System: Meditech, CPN
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling
• Floating Policy: As needed

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:
  • Active TX RN License (Temporary licenses will not be accepted)
  • BLS
  • NRP
• Required Experience:
  • 2+ years of hospital specialty experience
  • Level III NICU experience
• Preferred Skills:
  • Team player
  • Experience with Meditech preferred

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Royal blue and/or white scrubs
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gels, or similar
• Hair Policy: Neat and clean; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Tattoo Policy: Body art should be covered; visible tattoos will be addressed individually
• Piercing Policy: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
