• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Job Requirements

• Active RN license required
• At least 1 year of NICU nursing experience required
• Experience caring for central lines and changing fluids daily
• Experience with noninvasive ventilation, including BCPAP and NAVA
• Experience caring for post-surgical infants with ostomies and Broviac catheters
• NRP and STABLE certifications required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to float to Mother/Baby couplet care and Pediatrics as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to neonates in a Level III NICU
• Monitor and manage infants with varying acuity levels, including 1:1 to 1:3 patient ratios
• Care for patients requiring respiratory support and advanced neonatal interventions
• Maintain and manage central lines, Broviac catheters, and related therapies
• Assist with bedside GI surgery, chest tube insertion, and central line placement when needed
• Support families with clear, respectful communication and education
• Collaborate closely with the care team to deliver high-quality neonatal nursing care
• Document accurately using neonatal charting and hospital systems
