Job Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • At least 1 year of NICU nursing experience required
  • Level III or higher NICU experience preferred; 2+ years strongly preferred
  • NRP certification required
  • STABLE and NIC-RNC certifications preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-based healthcare environment

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
  • Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and collaborate with the care team
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR
  • Support family-centered care with professionalism and empathy
  • Work with interdisciplinary staff to promote positive patient outcomes
  • Float as needed to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby areas for babies only
  • Adhere to unit standards, policies, and best practices for neonatal care
