Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 2 NICU setting, maintaining patient ratios of 3:1 for feeder growers and 1:1 for vented patients
  • Assist NNPs with procedures including umbilical line placement, intubation, lumbar puncture, and circumcision
  • Operate and monitor specialized neonatal equipment including Giraffe Omnibeds and STAR GE resuscitation systems
  • Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
  • Collaborate with an on-site NNP and on-call Neonatologist as part of a core night shift team
  • Participate in infant resuscitation and stabilization as required by facility standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of current NICU RN acute care experience
  • Level 2 NICU experience required
  • Infant resuscitation experience required
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience
  • Experience with Eat Sleep Console (ESC) protocol for babies with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome
  • Delivery room admission and initial stabilization experience
