Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment supporting NICU and general floor patients.

Details

  • NICU and general floor patient care setting
  • Night shift (NOC) 18:30-07:00, 4x12-hour shifts totaling 48 hours per week
  • No on-call requirements
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by NBRC
  • ND state license required if applicable
  • BLS certification required
  • NICU experience required
  • Must be able to operate the HFOV 3100A ventilator

Additional Information

  • Perform respiratory care treatments, therapies, and assessments per physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Conduct EKGs and pulmonary function tests with accurate data collection and equipment operation
  • Monitor patient responses to respiratory interventions and communicate findings to the care team
  • Document assessments, treatments, and procedures accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care
  • Local candidates not accepted; a 50-mile radius rule applies and a permanent address is required for consideration
