  • Position Description: The Clinical Nurse II practices as a full partner on the health care team, demonstrating safe practice within the organizational professional practice model. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, ensuring accountable patient care, and supporting organizational core values that reflect the mission.
  • Required Qualifications: Current California registered nurse license; current American Heart Association certification for Basic Life Support; American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support; and American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program; minimum of three (3) years neonatal nursing experience in a level IV NICU.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The nurse will engage in patient and family-centered care, participate in evidence-based practice and research, and demonstrate skills in safety, conflict resolution, and problem solving. Must be proficient with clinical equipment, technology, and resource management. Guide, assist, or direct unlicensed assistive personnel as per California Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.
