Job Details

  • BSN degree required; current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification for Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Minimum of three (3) years current neonatal nursing experience in a level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
  • Proficient in the operation of clinical equipment/machines, computers, and technology within the nurse's practice setting.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities include practicing within the organizational professional practice model, applying patient and family-centered care, utilizing evidence-based practice, ensuring safety, and supporting continuous quality improvement.
  • The nurse may be responsible for guiding, assisting, and directing unlicensed assistive personnel as defined by the California Nurse Practice Act and/or organizational policies.
  • Submission of current licensure and certifications is required to be considered for this role.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
