Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: The position is based within a healthcare organizations NICU. This 26-week assignment involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients, with floating between units as needed. The role emphasizes clinical excellence in a high-acuity environment supporting neonates from 29 to 34 weeks and up to 61 beds.

Job Details:

  • Certifications & Qualifications: BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of clinical experience in a NICU or equivalent setting, experience with charting systems such as Epic, and familiarity with neonate care.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.

  • Additional Information: The assignment includes working with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. Candidates must be flexible to float across units, mainly caring for patients under 2 years of age. Candidates should be prepared to work holidays as scheduled and must include all scheduling requests at submission. References covering the last 3 years are required, with two references needed for compliance.
