Job Summary:

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based at a dedicated children's hospital location. This assignment involves providing specialized patient care within the neonatal intensive care environment, with a focus on infants from birth through 18 years of age. The role offers a 13-week commitment, starting on October 6, 2026, and ending on January 9, 2027, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12H Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM; Minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); RN licensure; at least 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience; prior travel nursing experience highly preferred; certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Comfort with patients aged from birth through 18 years; Pediatric/PICU experience
  • Float: Float rotation may be required; the organization reserves the right to reassign personnel to other areas within their clinical competence within thirty-five (35) miles of the assigned facility
  • Holidays: Must be available to work 2 of the 3 designated holiday periods; compliance with blackout dates (11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2) is required
  • RTO (Return to Office) Policy: No approved time off within the first two weeks of the assignment
  • Additional Information: The position requires flexibility for weekend staffing needs; medical and religious exemption requests for seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted
