Job Details
- Position: RN - NICU I in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the healthcare provider.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS, NRP, and at least 1 year of RN experience in a neonatal or critical care setting.
- Schedule: Night shifts from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 36 hours per week, with shifts occurring every other weekend and holidays as needed.
- Duration: Start date is September 7, 2026, with an assignment ending on December 6, 2026.
- Responsibilities include caring for preterm infants, neurological, cardiac, respiratory, renal, GI issues, and performing special procedures such as bedside surgeries including PDA ligation, chest tubes, and Penrose drains.
- Patient ratio is typically 1:2 or 1:3, with occasional floating to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Patient delivery system involves primary nursing, and charting is completed via Cerner electronic health record system.
- Requires a two to three shift orientation period.
