Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Modesto, California. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients within a dedicated unit, supporting high-risk deliveries, and managing neonatal patients from 29 to 34 weeks gestation. The position requires a commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), at least 5 years of nursing experience, 2 years of patient ratio experience, and experience attending high-risk deliveries and Neonates 29-34 weeks
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level II or III, familiarity with community hospital settings, and previous travel experience
- Certifications: NRP and BLS with valid expiration dates uploaded within the last two weeks
- Additional Information: Must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing; verification of 7-year work history required; maximum of 7 days of rest-off between contracts; only one holiday request permitted per contract for major holidays; all compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date; non-billable modules to be completed during orientation, with hours varying by specialty
