Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves floating between units and providing specialized care for neonates, including ventilator management, neonatal resuscitation, and family support. The position offers an opportunity to work within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, supporting a diverse neonatal patient population.
Job Details:

- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license required at submission), at least 2 years of experience, certifications in BLS and NICU-specific skills, active experience with electronic charting systems (Epic) and neonatal procedures, including ventilator management, NICU levels III and IV, and neonatal resuscitation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and neonatal transport experience.
- Float: Float to all units, with patients under the age of 2 on pediatric units; float rotation may be required.

- Duration of assignment from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027
- Candidates should be comfortable working with neonatal patients, including ventilator management and complex neonatal procedures
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Candidates must include responses to provided screening questions during submission, including previous work at a Providence facility if applicable, and provide two references covering one year within the last three years.
