Description

American Traveler is hiring a Level IV NICU RN for a seasonal night shift assignment requiring at least one year of recent Level IV NICU experience and a compact or CO RN license.

Details

  • Level IV Neonatal ICU unit with 42 beds and approximately 100 staff members
  • Patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity
  • Uses incubators, radiant warmers, continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation, Jet Ventilation, Servo ventilation, tracheostomy care, high-flow nasal cannula, NIPPV, central lines, PIVs, Foley catheters, chest tubes, and Arctic Sun cooling systems
  • EMR systems used include Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week seasonal assignment
  • Floating to PICU may be required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Compact or Colorado state license) required
  • Current BLS and NRP certification (Advanced 9th Edition) required
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care Level IV NICU hospital experience required
  • PICU experience preferred for floating flexibility
  • Post-surgical care experience preferred
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
