Job Summary
NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pacific Northwest region. This position involves providing specialized care to newborns and infants in a dynamic healthcare environment, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence across multiple campuses.
Job Details
- Position Description: This is an earning power (EP) contract. NICU RNs are needed at various facilities within the healthcare providers network, with most needs at the First Hill, Edmonds, and Issaquah campuses. The role involves float assignments to pediatrics and pediatric intensive care units, focusing on newborns and infants.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 2 years of NICU experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications, experience with patient ratios of 1:2, and active certifications as specified. Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU required.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, beginning 09/21/2026 and ending 12/21/2026.
- Additional Job Details: Must have experience with electronic charting systems, clinical experience in community hospital settings preferred. Candidates should have references covering at least one year of employment within their specialty within the last three years, including at least one supervisor reference.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care to neonatal patients, participating in multidisciplinary team activities, adhering to facility protocols, and completing virtual and in-unit orientation.
- Submission Requirements: Submittals must include references covering one year (or six months for CNAs), prior employment dates, and documentation of separation from any previous Providence-affiliated facility for at least 3 months if applicable.
