Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) McKinney, TX. This position involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting. The role requires at least two years of hospital or specialty experience, with a focus on teamwork and advanced neonatal skills.
Job Details
- Certifications: RN, BLS, NRP. Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses will not be accepted.
- Education: Must meet all certification requirements.
- Location: McKinney, TX.
- Years of Experience: 2+ years of hospital or specialty experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS, NRP, 2+ years of hospital or specialty experience, Level III NICU experience, ability to attend deliveries (including C-Sections).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system, team player.
- Additional Information: The unit has 7 beds with a patient ratio of 2:3. Equipment includes BCPAP and HFNCD. Self-scheduling and floating as needed are policies in place.
