Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Sylva, NC This position involves providing specialized care to neonates within a Level 3 NICU or Level 2 Special Care Nursery. The role supports a patient population consisting of preterm, NAS, TTN, and feeding issues, with a focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a hospital setting.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Experience in Level 3 NICU or Level 2 Special Care Nursery, BLS, NRP certifications, Associates degree, 1 year of experience, and NC location requirement
- Responsibilities include caring for neonates with various diagnoses, working collaboratively within a team, and supporting family-centered care.
- Additional Information: The position requires a flexible personality and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Dress code is scrub attire in any color.
