Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a facility located in North Austin. The role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level 3 NICU setting. The assignment is designed to support ongoing patient needs and requires a dedicated healthcare professional to join the team on a contractual basis.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current BLS certification, at least 2 years of NICU experience in a Level 3 NICU, and the ability to work in the specified location.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with new equipment and technology, friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality fit.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit boasts a high patient-to-staff ratio of approximately 3-4 patients per RN, with a staff of around 200 providing care. Typical procedures include the use of medfusion pumps, alaris infusion pumps, and GE monitors. The dress code is navy scrubs, with a strict no artificial nails or nail polish policy.
