Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Level III This position is based in a healthcare facility requiring a highly experienced NICU RN to deliver exceptional care to critically ill neonates. The role involves managing high-acuity patients, including infants requiring advanced respiratory support and therapeutic cooling, within a fast-paced neonatal environment.
Job Details
Position Description: NICU Registered Nurse (RN) Level III. Experience caring for high-acuity and critically ill neonates required; therapeutic cooling experience necessary.
Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program, 4+ years of NICU experience, experience managing ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, high-flow oxygen, managing invasive lines, administering IV medications, monitoring neonatal deterioration, performing neonatal resuscitations, and providing family support.
Schedule: Shift is days, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The role involves providing direct care to premature, critically ill, and medically complex neonates; managing high-acuity patients requiring advanced respiratory and hemodynamic support; participating in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization; collaborating with the multidisciplinary NICU team; and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
