Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro Progressive Care night shift position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

  • Neuro Progressive Care unit setting
  • Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week assignment length
  • No blocked scheduling permitted

Requirements

  • Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
  • Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
  • 2 years of recent experience required in neuro progressive care specialty
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
  • Medical exemption only accepted for flu vaccine (personal or religious declinations not accepted)

Additional Information

  • Competency testing required for consideration, with two attempts allowed to pass
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius if living in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
  • More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period will result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of the last call-out
  • RTO must be requested at time of consideration
  • Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
