Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro-Progressive Care position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

Neuro Progressive Care unit within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
13-week assignment length
No blocked scheduling permitted

Requirements

Active NY RN license required
BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
2 years of recent experience required in Neuro Progressive Care or related specialty
Epic EMR experience required
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Must provide at least 1 supervisor or manager reference no more than one year old (charge nurse references not accepted)
Must complete competency testing for the unit

Additional Information

Provide progressive/step-down level nursing care to neurology patients
Only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted for flu vaccination; personal or religious declinations are not accepted
More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
