Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Neurology for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana.

Neuro Surgical MS RN
NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)

Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Midtown (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus.
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.
AHA BLS and NIHSS.
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Neuro exp, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
Patient Population: Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, post-op cranis, cerebral angiogram. General medical and psych.
Skillset: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong Neuro assessements, basic tele interpretation, strict I s & O s/straight cath/Foleys, intitate/titrate heparin gtts., blood/blood product administration/venipuncture/blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain managemen, stable gtts. (i.e. Protonix, Lasic, etc.).
