Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical - Neuro Registered Nurse in Wilmington, NC. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a specialized Neuro unit. Your expertise in Med Surg will be invaluable in providing high-quality patient care.

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

• BLS & ACLS required
• NIHSS preferred
• 2 years of experience required
• Neuro experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

JOB DETAILS:

• This is a Neuro unit
• Shift: 12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15
• 36 or 48 hours accepted
• Will accept longer contracts (13-26 weeks)
• Float required
• Every other weekend required
• No more than 7 days of RTO
• Must be able to work holidays
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team
• Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster
• Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur, and contract staff may be pre-assigned to units as needed

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, & SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 Hours

SCRUBS: Navy Blue
