Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Med/Surg

Location: Birmingham, AL

Shift: 3x12 Nights

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $1585.64 - $1865.46 Per Week

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Neuro Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will provide care for specialized neurology and epileptic monitoring med/surg patients within a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality direct nursing care to neuro and epileptic monitoring med/surg patients.
• Monitor neurological status, perform frequent assessments, and manage specialized care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians, specialists, and support staff.
• Assess, document, and respond promptly to clinical changes in patient condition.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN License (Alabama or eNLC Compact License in hand).
• Certifications: Current BLS and NIHSS required.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Neuro nursing experience preferred.
• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts.
