We are seeking dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional care in our Neuroscience ICU, which is equipped with cutting-edge technology and staffed by a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuroscience ICU.
Manage patient care with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio during both day and night shifts.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and radiology.
Administer and manage complex medical procedures and equipment such as arterial lines, central lines, ventilators, and more.
Participate in emergency response situations and apply critical care skills to manage acute conditions like CVA/acute stroke, traumatic brain injury, and respiratory failure.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and isolation precautions.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Neuro ICU or similar critical care setting.
Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
Proficiency in managing complex patient conditions and advanced medical equipment.
Flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs.
Ability to work every other weekend as required.
