Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a KY or compact RN license, BLS and NIHSS certification.

Details

  • ICU unit within a 295-bed acute care hospital
  • Neuro specialty patient population
  • Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift
  • Every other weekend work required
  • No call requirements
  • May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
  • Uses Meditech EHR system

Requirements

  • Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
  • Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience required

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity ICU setting
  • Weekly orientation held on Mondays
  • Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
