Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
  • Current RN license in hand at time of submission
  • Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
  • Experience caring for adult critical care patients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced float pool and acute care environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert bedside care for critically ill adult patients across multiple ICU settings
  • Float to equivalent or lower-acuity critical care units based on staffing and patient needs
  • Monitor hemodynamics, manage ventilators, and titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips as ordered
  • Perform and support advanced ICU procedures, including line care, suctioning, and emergency interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Accurately document patient care in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
  • Adapt quickly to changing unit needs while delivering safe, high-quality patient care
