Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Experience with Epic electronic health records required
  • Active RN license in hand at time of submission
  • Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
  • Ability to work in high-acuity adult critical care environments
  • Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
  • Comfortable floating to equivalent or lower acuity units as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care in a critical care float pool across multiple ICU units
  • Float as needed to neuro ICU, surgical ICU, medical ICU, cardiology/diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU settings
  • Deliver safe, high-quality care to adult patients with complex and changing conditions
  • Support ventilated patients and manage telemetry monitoring
  • Perform IV starts and maintain lines, equipment, and critical care support systems
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care and positive outcomes
  • Respond effectively to changes in patient acuity and unit needs
  • Maintain strong documentation accuracy, attention to detail, and sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced ICU environment
