GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lancaster, South Carolina.
About the Position
Position/Specialty: MS/Tele RN
Shift: 4x12s, Nights (7p-7a)
Ratios: 1:6-1:7
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-call Requirement: No
Floating Requirement: Yes, to like units with like patients.
Required/Preferred Years of Experience: 2 years of experience required. First-timers not accepted; must have travel experience.
License Requirement: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH.
Special Requirements: Med/Surg experience required.
Experience Preferred: Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias.
Additional Requirements: Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date. Expect access to these modules by the Wednesday before your start date. Attendance at staff meetings is required.
Miscellaneous: Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval can be requested prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Local Radius: 60 miles. Locals Accepted: Yes, locals will be considered at 10% less than the posted rate.
RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs.
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Call Out Policy: After 2 call outs (per contract) without a documented medical reason, a contract will be considered for cancellation.
Hospital Highlights: Type of Facility: Short term acute care hospital. Total Staffed Beds: 97. Scrub Color: Royal Blue. Charting: Epic. Parking Cost: No Cost.
Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
