Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2 years of recent experience and at least one prior travel assignment.

Details

• Work in the MS/Tele unit handling ED boarder patients
• Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Cerner charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Active compact RN license or MD state RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience required within the last 7 years
• At least 1 previous travel assignment required for consideration
• Strong Med/Surg Tele clinical background required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for ED boarder and medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
• Previous MedStar employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Must be comfortable proceeding without a manager interview
